I guess its about time for me to formally say hi.

I've been playing games since I can remember, my first pc game was Grand Prix Circuit (http://www.bestoldgames.net/eng/old-games/grand-prix-circuit.php) ever since then I've been hooked, I played allot of ps1 aswell but havent had a console since then.

I'm really intrested in game development and can find my way around XNA pretty well, my other intrests are web security and penetration testing. I'm still studying, will probably finish up next year (after honours) and then hit the big world.

Anyway, thats a quick bit about me, its nice to have found an active comunity of local gamers and its a pleasure to meet you all.

Mornign all, boring day at work. Been an online for years playing online management games ( like battrick, hattrick and rugbymania)

Started off with console's when i was a young lad (3), as my uncle had a motocycle accident and he had to get his hand eye co-ords back.
From there went to PC (this now in pc industry), but about 3 months ago came back from Dubai from honeymoon and brought PS3 back.

Joined up at the PS3za forums and now making my way here.

About me - 27 yrs old, Application administrator in East London (born and bred in CPT though)

Hope was not too long winded :p

I am fairly new to this forum but I have been reading MyBB since the start and also here on MyGaming when it started.
The last time I was active on an extremely frequent basis on a forum was a few years back at the peak of my WoW obsession which has, since the end of 2008, stopped.

Application administrator - All the application the company uses (BAAN - [like SAP] i write modules reports , user right etc, Labware LIMS - reports, SQL queries, Routemaster - link between that and BAAN) i look after.

Well i am Kyle, i am mostly Vlad on forums but i believe i am starting with this nick name now :). I was born in JHB in 1990, i live now in Oudrshoorn (dam hot town). Well i love the pc, spend hours reading reviews and setting up tutorials for people. I finished school last year, so going to have to try get a job or my hope is go over seas, so we see what the future holds.

Been fixing pc's and having them as my life since i was seven, sadly never got much into programming but will see if i have some spare time to get into that. So looking forward to chatting here, doing some reviews and helping out peeps.

A friend of mine forked over the necessary cash for training, the medical etc. and they ended up making him live in extremely cramped conditions, work long hours and ended up paying him far less than was initially agreed on. He was supposed to do it for 5 years and he was back after 2 months :eek:

The long hours are pretty much a given though. You might be working on a cruise ship, but you definitely aren't going to be on holiday.

But if the pay wasn't up to scratch, your friend should spread the word so they don't snare any others by surprise.
