Project Natal may deliver advanced motion detection, putting the Wii to shame

Microsoft targets Wii market (http://www.mygaming.co.za/news/XBox/3955-Microsoft-targets-Wii-market.html)

You can watch the promo video for the Project Natal on MyGaming (http://www.mygaming.co.za/news/Videos/index.1.html)

If you add Kwa-Zulu infront of the name, you can make the peripheral look like a spear.

Awesome marketing tactic that would be

What's with linking to another article when there's one right here?

I'll wait and see. Sounds like a gimmick to me.

I prefer to hold my motion sensor in my hand, thank you.

/#HexBox has some decent games, pity about the hardware issues. I have heard horror stories,,,

Certainly doesn't look like a gimmick to me from watching the videos :)

Did anyone else find that the music in the promotional video (http://www.mygaming.co.za/news/videos/index.1.html) sounded awfully similar to that used in Little Big Planet?

I finally had a chance to check out the actual footage. Very Sci-Fi stuff there. If it had been a live demo i would still be picking up my jaw from the floor. There are a few things that doesn't make sense to me. If there are four people sitting on the sofa then how does that thing know which one is playing? Its face and voice recognition has to be perfect or else it will get comfused and screw the whole experience up. Does it look good in an advert like that, sure. Will it translate into the same thing in your own living room... im still waiting on that live demo...

Apparently its facial recognition is very impressive. I read an article written by someone who tried it out with a racing game and they said it took a few seconds for it to identify him.

I don't think it'll be another Eye Toy haha. Ah, what fun I had flapping like a bird behind friends playing snowboard games using that thing haha :D Confused the s**t out of the poor thing!
