Bwahahaha, dude look at the sites that reviewed the game.
IGN US 7.5 and AU it a 8.5 and I'm holding off till the other sites start reviewing the game.
Cheat Code Central? PGNx Media? GamingTrend? Who are these people?
So far I'm gauging it in the 7's and 8's overall from some proper user impressions and not some random sites that no one heard of. If its that good then hey I get to enjoy 2 Awesome sandbox games this year :D

Oh wait lets not even consider Metacritic cause GTAIV still the "highest rated" all know what a borefest that became
IGN gave GTAIV a 10 as well, but I generally find their reviews helpful

I rate Gamespot as one of the most biased sites around. One too many scandals for my liking.
I reckon I'll be getting Prototype either way, even if it is just mindless fun.

Eurogamer gave it a solid 7 which is what I was expecting.
Not a bad score so I will get it in the bargain bin :D
Something I don't get is that they bash the visuals but still give it a 7 even so I can't see myself spending R600 odd on this game.

I was watching the gameplay off my NAG magazine... Gameplay gfx isnt all that bad actually.... however you can see that they stole a couple ideas from a few games eg: spiderman web of shadows they use some of the moves in prototype :p but its gonna be interesting

True, but Diablo's graphics were awful and the gameplay was still like crack.

It also seems to me that the devs are going more for size than for super-sharp graphics. I'm sure the large scale of the gameplay would've had to be toned down if they pumped up the graphics.
