l am curious which energy drink you guys think is best for staying awake late nights and getting up with almost no sleep
best i ever tried is pirate energy drink-it has the highest caffeine and energy than all the energy drinks u get in sa. anybody tried it?

Mana Potions are awesome.
Friend brought some from overseas. 1 blue and 1 red bottle.
Strangely though, it's Like E..... Could feel a lekker pickup, but as it "weared off" I felt very very very tired and fatigued. Also a bit cranky. Same with him. Brought us each some.
At Lans I just amp myself up on Play, the big one. Each to his own, play really works for me, while some ppl say it doesnt. Specially if I had a late night lanning, like until 5 o clock, and woke up at like 8 or 9, and I down a big play, I feel fresh...

Red Bull is very very bad for you, as are many energy drinks actually...so it's best to stay away from them if possible :)
yeah each persons body/system is different. Red bull does nothing for me aswell, neither did V
But play really really does help me.
I allways drink it like this.
1 BIG can, 1 regular. Down the regular, then just sip away on the big one.

I love Red Bull again. Whenever I have to work at night to make a deadline I get a can.
The taste is awesome and it makes me feel much more awake and ready to take on the night.
Play makes me jittery. :)

Make no mistake, I loooooooooove my redbull, and I actually drink redbull more than I do play, but mostly because I love the taste.
PLay I just drink out of neccesity, RedBull I drink cause I love it.

the pirate had more caffeine than the red bull or play, and u get 2 servings per bottle and one bottle is cheaper than the bull or play. i would say best value and best energy.
dont drink more than 2 servings at a time cause u WILL NOT SLEEP THE WHOLE NIGHT.strong stuff

I love redbull though it does nothing, Cant stand play tastes like meds. Nothing beats a strong cup of my personal poisen. 2 tablespoons of coffee, lots of sugar and some milk, Drink and you will live.

I like Monster. Its a huge can, tastes good, is well priced and it works well.
I usually have a Monster with a double southern comfort before I go out (unless of course I'm driving :P) Don't really drink energy drinks when I play games though.

or you can have two big ones: chug the one sip the other, guranteed to look mentally insane after consumption.(tastes like a sweetened form of BioPlus though)
But the thing that worked best was the BOOST chocolate that was 98% sugar, it's outta production but after having two of that you're definitely good to go... Coffee just aint what it used to be though it used to work but nowadays it just makes me wee too much:o

I tend to stay away from energy drinks for a few reasons ..... 1) they just taste rubbish 2) they are overly expensive 3) they don't really work and the most important one 4) I heard an Urologist say that they have been linked to pancreatic and testicular cancer :eek:

I don't drink energy drinks. I hardly even drink carbonated drinks, maybe a Stoney every now and again if I'm out and really thirsty.
If I'm trying to stay awake I'll drink coffee, else my drink of choice at a lan is beer.
