Download done, played for about 2 hours last night. . . . one word. . . . . . EPIC.
They have done a awesome job. They have completely captured the D2 feeling in it, it feels like I went back to my D2 days, but with awesome GFX and enhanced game play.
If I have to make one criticism though, I wasn't mad about the chars I rolled. I started out with a Witch Doctor. He is cool, but I dunno something about the combat and his spells didn't excite me like I thought it would. So I rolled a Wizard thinking it would be exciting like the Necromancer was in D2. Alas, also did nothing for me. His 1 spell is just retarded, ice blast or something, its like a lazer beam of ice that you can activate to damage enemies. Was really dumb IMO.
BUT I am well aware this is the BETA after all and I have no doubt in my mind that the release will be EPIC! I can see I am going to waste so many hours on this game. All I can say from the 2 hours I played that is has been worth the wait.

Yeah still, starting to seriously fuck me off. It seems a lot of Web Africa clients are having issues, I have sent them a request to check it out, I am sure they will sort it out for me.
I am either going to go Witch Doctor or Demon Hunter. The skills system looked ok, wasnt crazy about how they stack skills, but I still need to figure the system out.

I have just been checking out the other classes and I really like the look of some of the other Witch Doctors spells. The Demon Hunter also looks awesome. I am Frakking Lazy! Played some Kingdom's of Amalur again last night after submitting my TMA (Tutor Marked Assignment) for my course. My Char is hugely overpowered, don't think I needed to use a health potion one as my healthbar never dropped under 90%. At one point was standing in the Gnome city just killing guards that swarmed me. Ended up with a bounty of 200K gold. Which was fine because after paying it I still had like a Million gold left with nothing to spend it on.... :wtf:

Hehehe That was about an hour before the show started, by 8 it was getting full, by 8:30 it was packed - but it was too dark to take a shot of them then. (my cell camera sucks :P) Loved the fact that they did a 2 hour set, minimal talking from the band and continuous music. They truly are still amazing live. But yea I would have preferred the Velodrome as a venue - the people behind us and on the stands really had a hard time to hear the show. Its one of the big issues with the stadium as a venue. Its why I normally skip shows there but the tickets where a gift so I went :P Only disappointment was that they didnt play Tequila Sunrise - my all time fav Eagles song. They did do all the others tho so cannot complain at all.

i wanted to buy a dvd headunit, from them but eventually got one for the same price @ hifi corp
Damn i just heard back from the car dealership, i have been approved for financing YAY, but then i get told they will finance me a for R3150 per month (on a new car and im giving a nice-ish) deposit and i have no debt.... that is basically prime +6% WTF???!
my previous car was financed at Prime +2% and back then i had about R20k in Credit Card debt... something is very fishy...

Yeah that was the one with Henry Rollins in it. These movies are funded by big companies like Paramount and 21st Century Fox, so there is more than enough money to go around. The first one was actually good, one of the first horror movies in while (back then) to take place in broad daylight.

Yeah it was pretty good, but gory as hell. They went ahead and created a back story for Three Finger and the other guys. Not particularly amazing there, but a decent shlock horror.
I don't think I've even seen 3 around anywhere.

I remembered my copy of D2 to play at work. Installed it and discovered it doesn't need the disk in it :)
My gf saw me playing the game and is now starting to get a lil hooked on the game, coolness indeed.
EDIT: wow 14 minutes and no reply to thread. did I kill thread killer? its tk's peak time lol

Couldn't get a copy? Part of the Reason I cancelled mine, if I had secured a Dark Edition maybe I would have still gotten it. I will get it eventually but with Diablo 3 around the corner and a few titles still demaning my attention outside of Study/Social a.k.a Spent time with Wife time. Star Wars The Old Republic is the first MMO I am really enjoying so I want to at least get my first Char to Lvl 50 before Diablo 3 hits at which point I will either suspend my Subs or just play a WHOLE LOT less. I am over 50 hours into Kingdom's of Amalur and I keep getting the feeling I am only about half way, even though I am at lvl 34 of 40. :/
In other news I got 90% for my Assignment on Game Genres. :D
