Nice read and i agree with most. I have never had any ques and my lag is not that noticeable. With my dual core 2.33ghz, 4gb ram, Geforce 9800GT 512mb and win7 i am running it at max all, comfortably with fps never dropping below 40. The registratgion system is frustrating. Over all its a fun game but not rewarding enough to drive me from Eve

I'm soo happy that there is hardly anymore queuing on the Gorgos server :), but my latency has been getting worse :(.

i would suggest you go read around the internet and forums, its good to do it once in a life time; just as wow stated we don't ban those on proxy they have actually done it. you try and if they don't ban in you in next 120 days at least or 90 i might give it a spin.

We assume that those bans are the reaction to gold-spammers/farmers who increasingly use proxies to escape attention. NCsoft already announced massive actions against these issues via Twitter.

3. On the update all the say is gold sellers NOTHING ABOUT PROXIES
All it goes down to is reading the EULA

Playing behind a proxy in itself is not against the User Agreement and would not be a basis for ban.
So yeah im gonna use it

I used to be very sceptical about using proxy's, and never really felt the need until Aion. But after trying to pvp with a ping of 600-900 (unshaped).. well it's just a joke. It's actually almost a gamebreaker, especially if you're a melee class.
So friend and I tried gamepath last night, even though just yesterday in another post I said stay away from it ;p
250ms ping times are just amazing. You can actually almost play like the rest of the world and the game intended.
Friend bought an account on the spot, I was still dubious from the ban rumours - but after reading that post from Ayase I feel way more confident now ;)

NcSoft is using the wrong approach by mass banning because this is not the solution. They will end up alienating and offending A LOT OF PAYING CUSTOMERS, regardless of their personal stand on RMT, and whether or not they have purchased virtual currency. Let's start punishing the spammers, NOT THE CUSTOMERS

I agree with you girlfighter ... but you have to keep in mind that the Gold Sellers are a huge problem - I usually spend the first 2 or 3 minutes after logging in just blocking people.
I've been on Kahrun for 5 days, and my blocklist already has 40 - 50 people on it. And NCSoft is responding to calls from those same paying customers to get rid of the problem. And the problem is exacerbated by the fact that the spammers are using some of the same proxies that the customers are using.
So you can't blame NCSoft. There's no easy solution. It's something that's going to take a while to get sorted out - and there are going to be glitches in the beginning.

Yeah im on Kalil yeah, do they spam general chat or what? Coz i put it either on group when me and the dude from norway quest together, or on combat if i solo. Too bad your Asmodian, you could have joined my legion.

They raep LFG (since its a global channel) and whisper me 15-20 times a night if I don't block them

Lol, i havent seen anything but then again im normally more focused on killing things than what goes on in the chat channels. I prefer Eve's chat system to this one though.

DDO has built in voice over IP voice chat that works brilliantly, Otherwise you chat in the group window. I never, ever chat in general.

I change my channel to combat to moment i log on. If i group i change to group. Sucks that you cant open a priv chat with another player like you can in Eve.
