Which is better, Riva Tuner or Nvidia's own software utility to monitor the card and do overclocking?
I'm thinking of installing either of the two. Normally I would go for the Nvidia software since they designed the card. However I am willing to give Riva Tuner a try since it is such well known software.
So which one should I use and why?

I used to use Ntune, the nvidia Software, but the thing is it resets your clocks and fanspeeds on each reboot.
With rivatuner its permanent!
I like to keep my 260's fan @ 70% and it's clocked slightly higher. with the Ntune you have to apply these settings after each reboot.

RivaTuner is one of those great free applications that you just can't do without.
