Unfortunately the store here by me knew nothing about the sale. So I drove to another one and it wasn't part of the whole thing. It would seem that it would take so much petrol money to get to a store that's participating that it would be better to just buy a game somewhere else for the original price.
I hope that some people here managed to get some of the games.

Bioshock (need the original) is on my shopping list and I'll be buying another copy of Mass Effect, since my original is phuckered

Phoned a whole bunch of them now, nobody in the PTA/midrand vicinity have the orange box in stock. Those who have, have it at the normal price of R325.

I think this article needs to be pulled, IC are not living up to their quoted sales prices, and this is therefore just an advert for them.

This sale is a failure. because I was in menlyn and next to IC at atterburry and only now found out about it :( Damn I want MGS4!!!

I know personally that the fourways crossing branch is selling Need for speed carbon collectors edition PC for R99, supreme commander PC R99, Command and conquer Kane's Wrath Xbox 360for R99, Too Human Xbox360, Pure and a couple more

I just swang by IC 4ways crossing on my way home and they were just unloading a crap load of games for the sale. So it looks like there is still hope. I will be checking out the Woodmead sale tomorrow to see if they have unpacked anything new

Centurion is not carrying the sale. What they have done is move all the stock in an area to a particular branch. For example, clearance stock from Northgate was moved to Fourways.
It actually makes sense because there are less stores carrying the sale but they are carrying more.
Your best bet is to go to Menlyn, but I have not checked that one out myself. I do know that they are carrying the sale though.

I was hoping to pick up a few good PS3 titles and a PS3, but there wasn't much to choose from.

I picked up mass effect just to save guard myself in case I run out of activations before they release the new patch with the revoke tool. It was a better idea in paying R100 than having to maybe deal with EA's customer service staff, horror stories of it taking 3-4 months here in SA before they give you another activation.
