Hmmmmm FEAR 2...
I don't know if I even really enjoyed the first game, but it scared the poo out of me.
Its almost unpleasant playing, but I don't think I can resist...

Apparently a new MMO is getting released end of this month. Darkfall . This game looks incredible, hope we get local stockists and its not a flop like AoC :p

I don't know why I'm even looking at the Feb release schedule. I still got to a backlog of games due to Christmas bulk purchases. Fallout 3, Witcher Enhanced, Prince of Persia Trilogy, PES 2009, GTA 4...

Yeah definately looking foward to FEAR2. Enjoyed the first one a lot. I just hope the story will be as good.

Killzone 2 and F.E.A.R. 2 are definitely on my purchase list. ;)
Played the F.E.A.R. 2 demo and I thought it was really awesome :)
Killzone 2 Demo hits the PS Store today, can't wait to try it out :D

It looks like FEAR2 is going to be crazy expensive though. I'm not prepared to pay R500 for a pc game.

I just think it's ridiculous that anyone would make a game out of...50 Cent. I mean, make like "Chuck Norris Kills Earth" or "Van Halen Goes Keanu Reeves & Kills Things With a Guitar" but 50 Cent? That's almost as stupid as Hello Kitty games.

It also scared 2kg off me but for some reason I really enjoyed playing it, unlike Doom 3 or Call of Cthulhu. I think it's probably because the intense psychological horror/thriller sections are broken up by awesome gunplay against some smart military squad AI.
I also played the demo and quite enjoyed it. The R475-R500 (BT) price point is a shock, though. I guess it's on par with what the Yanks pay now but I reckon its price is quite a way beyond what the average ZA gamer's disposable income allows for PC games.

For these poor fantasy MMOs to make a lasting mark they have to either beat WoW, or be based on a different business model (i.e. not subscription). And beating WoW at it's own game after 4-5 years of development is no mean feat.
