Like the title says, I need help with this stupid problem. When you play back recorded demos in UT3 then it defaults to a 3rd person view. It's quite frankly one of the most stupid oversights I've seen in a game. Does anyone know a command I can type in the console or something to change the view to first person?

Okay after lots of searching I found the command "behindview 1". Its still buggy though, no arms on the weapons, sounds go missing, wrong weapons are displayed and the view defaults to spectator when you die. Not Surprised UT3 didn't get well received by competitive gamers.

Sounds like a pretty bad demo to me, hopefully the real game isn't like that?

If that's how they built it... by design, then, well meh. Not good :(

It's fully up to date and three patches later the demo playback is still amateur hour.
