    What is wrong with them...its a 130Mhz faster than the i7 965.
    Im guessing this CPU is gonna set you back around R15 000...LMAO i can build a Phenom 2 dragon platform monster rig for the same price as 1 of these cpu's!!

    At this stage I'm looking at the baby i7 as an upgrade from my C2D E8500 but I keep asking myself if it's worth it. Also others have been saying that they'll wait for the i7 to be "tested' on the market and then buy the following chip.

    The i7 920 is the only 1 worth buying. It gives excellent perfomance at a reasonable price and is pretty much the 3rd best cpu available today.

    It seems to me that from a value for money perspective, the AMD option is more sensible for most of us. The motherboards look to be more reasonably priced than
    than X/P58s too.
