Lucasarts adventure games OWN. I ADORED the art in DOTT and S&M: Hit the Road, also LOVED Indiana Jones & the Fate of Atlantis. Loom - not so much. The Dig - not so much. Monkey Island I never really got into, but I can appreciate the humour and art now. Still has a large following. I actually met Steven Purcell, the guy who created SAM & MAX. I met him at the COMICON 2006 in San Diego. He signed my comic book and I gave him a scribble I did of Sam & Max. I was stokefied. Also went to a talk by the guy who wrote the script for Day of the Tentacle, can't remember his name now. Tim Schaeffer? Not sure. He's awesome. Ah. Halcyon days of gaming my friends.
1.) Commander Keen
2.) Castle Wolfenstein
3.) Xargon
4.) Accolade Gran Prix
5.) Stunts
6.) Hotrod/Streetrod
7.) Jill of the Jungle
8.) Gunstar Heroes
9.) Super Mario
10.) Sonic
Yeah, that's around the same time that I started with games, too.
And I remember how much of an issue it was to play games because we only had a 360kb floppy drive and my dad refused to let us load games on the harddrive.
And I remember having to use a colour emulator so that I could play CGA games on the old hercules graphics adaptor we had. Maaaan that takes me back.

Super Mario bros II
Dig Dug
Ye are Kung Fu
Spartan X
Star Force
Milipedi
Joust
Ice Climber
Lode Runner
1944
These are all Nintendo games that I remember well.
My 1st game I owned was Double Dragon, followed by a 24-in-1. With battle City, Track & Field, Zippy Race, mappy, Karateka, contra, lode runner, frontline, Bwings, ice climber, adventure islander and Spartan on it. Man i loved spartan.
