I just downloaded the game...and ive been struggling to connect to the Windows Live. It keeps on saying it cannot connect when I try log in and I also cant connect to the Windows Marketplace. Anyone have any advice on how to sort this out? Was really looking forward to playing AOEO....
Wow I can't believe how crap GFWL is, I was quite keen to try this out but now I have this shit to deal with.
Sounds like people are having endless issues with GFWL on the Steam version. Bought myself another civ on Steam, so I hope I don't have any issues with the game.

I played it a bit last night and it has potential to be a lot more cooler than I thought it would. Didn't get much time to have a 1v1 or anything though
I think it's one of the best MMORTS games out there. The skirmishes also feel a lot like AOE1, for some reason. Not that AOE3 garbage.

Turns out I owned the Greek Civ since last year September, I just didn't know it. Seeing as I was now missing only one, I decided to get the Persians while I was at it.
Started the Celts today, and I love them. Dunno why, but they're just so...modest, compared to the other races. Also, SNOW!
