    Default Microsoft SideWinder X4 replacement

    Hey,

Anyone know what keyboard replaced or is replacing Microsoft SideWinder X4?

    Thanks in advance.

    I see there's a X6.
It's out of stock as well, any recommendations for about R500?

If you can push that budget up a 100 or 2 then it would open a lot more doors for things a lot better.
I picked up my Gigabyte Aivia for 625 and have been really happy with it.

erm i dont think the Gigabyte Aivia has much on the x6 ... besides, a nice small gaming keyboard and ability change which side you want your macros to be on is a major plus

Yeah the x6 is like the x4's big brother. It's a really unique keyboard. But I am happy with my x4. And I hope it'll still last me a while. I got a nice water resistant cover that I built in under the keys. There's no replacement for the x4 though and the x6 is rare. And it used to be a lot cheaper then it is right now.

Here's all the keyboards they currently sell: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/keyboards

And what they call their gaming section: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/gaming

    Pathetic if you ask me.

And then their mouse selection: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/mice
Which is filled with laptop mice... such utter crap.

    LIES!

They do the whole Arc range and stuff these days... but in any case the sidewinder series is laying low for the moment.
