Got this from the GW2 twitter feed.
Reminder to all closed beta players:you're under NDA.Don't risk breaking the NDA, you could permanently lose access to all ArenaNet games.

Daayum, I'm seeing NDA breakers left and right in reddit and guru :O
On one hand i think breaking the NDA is bad, but on the other hand we get moarrr info ! So starved for new info about gw2!
I honestly don't see the reason for NDA anymore on MMO/Gaming public betas. You might call this a closed beta but it is nothing like that at all. Random people get invited = it is an open beta. Slamming a nonsensical NDA on it wastes time.
Unless of course the NDA is there only to create more hype as the beta info is "leaked" and goes viral. It would not surprise me if the whole NDA thing is just that: another marketing tool.
I am not the only one that thinks this, many bloggers have made similar comments in the "closed" betas of other MMOs.

My 9 year old asked me "What should I be when I grow up daddy?"
I answered, "Happy".
Not to mention that once you get public involved actually enforcing an NDA is almost impossible. With Press it's significantly easier to track down Bob from website X but now if some random footage pops up on the net it would be a mission to hunt down the person who leaked it.
