Name of Product:
YAMA 711 Gaming Chassis
Review Summary:
"Compact With a Lot of Extras"
Hardware Review:
With a myriad of Chassis available on the market, gamers often tend to purchase the biggest chassis available, not considering the option of a Mid Sized ATX Chassis that balances Size and Portability with Features.
Companies that are relatively unknown and new on the South African Market like Yama offer gamers with an alternative to this reasoning, providing feature packed chassis like the 711 that are Mid Size but offers all of the portability without sacrificing anything in terms of functionality.
I received the 711 Gaming Chassis to review a few days ago.
After unboxing the compact chassis I was surprised at how well built the chassis is with a high quality of finish all round.
Clearly a lot of thought had gone into the design process for this chassis.Th Glassy Exterior Finish looks great but presents some problems if you never ways your hands or touch your case incessantly.
Luckily the exterior is relatively easy to clean using a damp cloth and giving the chassis a quick Wipe Down.
The Interior with its all black coating caters to the current international trends of an all black design and provides enough space and clearance for large GPU's and Mid Sized CPU Coolers
Larger Coolers can be fitted but may result in some tightly packed components internally, or may cause issues with heat and airflow.
The included 750w PSU is a solid performer, with the same technology that goes into all of the standalone Yama PSU's powering this one.
The inclusion of the PSU at this Price Point is surprising with the added value the PSU brings to the offering almost making the purchase of this chassis compulsory.
The value does not stop there, and included in the package is a 180mm Side Fan, Fan Controller and Built In Card Reader, making the offering one of the best in terms of value for money I've seen in a long time.
