Pretoria or Joburg?

This is obviously a question for those who have some knowledge of both Pretoria and Johannesburg, or at least a bit about Gauteng.

My question is, if you had to choose, where would you stay and why?

I went to Pretoria for the first time in years yesterday and seriously liked it. It's so vast and so big but so chilled at the same time. Did not expect that. I also liked the alternative feel of the place.

So yes! Random, but opinions?

Pretoria. Joburg is a bit too rushed (and polluted :P) whereas Pretoria is more "chilled".

I live in Jhb, the north to be exact and I will never move to PTA. I love it this side too much to wanna move out so far...

The North is quite nice to stay in. I'm in the West Rand and it's, well, full of 4X4's
