Greetings and Salutations True Believers
It is Monday once again.

I was expecting it, actually - so I can't say I was too taken aback.
Besides, we got to see the origin of the species, although there's too much of a gap between Alien and Prometheus - so I still have questions. Especially since the planet (or moon rather, LV223) in Prometheus and Alien/Aliens (LV426) aren't the same. So we still need to figure out how the xenomorphs got to the planet.
I guess I'm going to be following a lot of discussions over the next few days.
Happy Monday all.
How was your weekend?
My friend invited me out to go and watch Prometheus on Friday night. The following day, I took myself to watch MIB 3.
My quibble with Prometheus was with some of the science: if I read correctly, and the distance Prometheus travelled was 3.8X10^14km [around 38 million million km], then that is not NEARLY far enough. Pluto's distance [thanks to its eccentric orbit] varies between roughly 4 and 7 thousand million kn. Pluto is about 13 light hours distant from Sol. The distance between Sol and Alpha Proxima is around 4 light years....
I think that may lave us with a problem.
The film also seems to show a vary shaky grasp of genetics.
