    So how would they make that work though? I mean, they would need to use keys like on PC games.

    I will probably mean the first time you put a game in your console you will either activate it online and in so doing link it to you Live or PSN accounts or enter a Online pass code and so link it to your account.

    I don't think that this upsets me as much as it would have a year or two ago. Since acquiring a cheque card, I have been less inclined to buy PC games from bricks and mortor stores, preferring GoG, STEAM, and GG, or the occasional indie bundle.

    I find that my PSN+ membership gives me good value too, and as the broadband situation in South Africa improves [I hope], it may become more practical to purchase digital editions of games. I cannot speak for XBox Live, as my XBox has not received much attention lately.

    I buy preplayed simply because it's cheaper, same some computer hardware, same with cars, same with books, etc. Why should games be any different??
