Considering how useless the Blacksmith is, the AH will get my gold.

At lower lvl's yeah but on inferno with it lvl'd to exalted you can make some simply amazing gear.
I've made 2 Gloves, I can't remember stats but they were pretty awesome, 1 sold for well over a million and I am using the other one :P Will check stats on it tonight. Also considering it only cost me 50k + mats to make a glove, I'd say that's a pretty good return.

Yeah but having something you pump a fuck load of gold into at low level but only gives a usable return at max level is stupid & screams of shitty balance.

I agree with this. I blew 30k gold on training my blacksmith yesterday, just to find out the new items he could create for me were shittier than the ones I already had.

Right now, the blacksmith simply isn't worth the gold investment, especially since gold trickles in so slowly.

That pisses me off. There should be a hidden modified based on your character that ensure items that are crafted or Dropped have at least 1 class relevant skill. Im not asking that everything that drops be perfect for my Char but fucking hell getting a Mighty belt with +45 to Dex & +50 to Int for a character that doesn't use either is retarded. I know its part of the random magic slot machine but its still stupid.

AH prices on the EU server are INSANE! people are asking 900K+ for a Radiant Star emerald! lets not start on Orange items those are a different story altogether.

How is 900k an insane price for a Radiant Star? Have you worked out the cost in actually making that thing?

Yeah, the gem prices for radiant squares have gone from ~8500 right before commodities closed to ~3000 last night; normal squares went from ~5000 to ~1500, so it's a massive drop. I've seen insane prices, but not so much on the commodities.

dex gives dodge and int gives resistance ... how is that retarded?
