Ah, I opened the link you posted on my iphone and saw only the reddit site. Now I see what you mean. How to you get to them from battle.net side? So not something the average person would stumble upon then. Im guessing because blizzard would prefer not to have people who haven't pre-purchased the game have access to its install files in an effort to stop people from cracking it wide open before release.
There is no danger of this, since cracking the game relies on server emulation, which you need the server running for..I think it's more likely that they don't want it spread around too much with patches still outstanding, as this will just cost the more ignorant gamers extra time and bandwidth, plus unnecessary support they have to provide. A release of a couple of days beforehand should still give the majority of gamers who wish to pre-load enough time to do so, with less patching to be done on day 1.

Download is finished, you can't however install it until launch
