PLZ HELP

I have been playing COD4 online for a while and then i didnt play for about 5months, if i try to play now i get "awaiting keycode authorization"?
must i wait and see if it goes away or is there a solution?

i have updated my PB, i have reinstalled and repatched my copy of cod4,

anything else i can try?

(((You won't get a reply from our 11th Hop as its our FIrewall server
If you are having issues connecting to the iGame servers it may be related to an older version of PB or your ISP having issues
peering through JINX to our Network
(Your connection my be timing out before it auths with our servers)

Try PB Updates, if that does not work, repost your issue in our Technical section)))

I don't see the point in multiposting when one would have worked - LOL as I'm typing you submit a Fourth Post !

If you are still having issues with this and as mentioned in your first post you are testing from two different ISP accounts (Neotel and Telkom) then the issue is related to your line and the throughput not being fast enough to auth with our servers across JINX peering

We sometimes see this from uncapped account players who's accounts simply are not well routed enough to auth with the servers before the server closes the connection, leaving them staring at that same screen until the client drops out and declares that it is unable to connect

You can try setting your Timer to wait longer before erroring out
/cl_connectionAttempts 30

See if that makes a difference, alternatively I've seen some guys on certain ISP's solve the issue by launching MP, refreshing the list of Favorite servers, then hosting their own lan server forcing PB to Refresh, then WITHOUT refreshing going back to the server lsit and joining a server

If you are a using local cap to connect to cod4 servers then you will have "awaiting key code authorization" error. This problem has been persistent for the past 5 or so months.

Otherwise I have no idea.

Im using a 10mb neotel line and a 24mb mweb line, Im going to get internet from Teraco beginning of next month, i think that might solve my problem.
