stupid bosses whom run there business poorly
Ok so I have had a conversation with my boss this morning trying to sort out all the broken shit to figure out how to explain to customers why the equipment isnt working. Note how he changes the conversation to what he wants to discus, instead of actually answering the question , this is how my Monday starts.. I am working for a clot pole and a prat whom i need to baby all the time,,
me: Hi any word on whats hapening with the photostate machines as we are losing out on money and profit each day that the machines arnt fixed not to mention customers.
Boss: I spent R560 on serving them
it should work
me: well they still arnt working as the repair guy had mensioned that there are things that need to be replaced
we left the notes on your desk
just keeping you in the loop as to whats appening this end
Boss: i saw it, but they are not crucial for the copier to be working at optimum capacity
me: Boss everything is crusial to be fully functional
we lose out on money , every day due to one thing not working properly
Boss: we are entering the most challenging part of the year, which is winter
you guys have to also play your part
me: we can only do so much
boss: the biggest killer of machine is dust
me: but if the machine arent working proply how can we even advertise for colour prints
Boss: if you see the desk that you work on
me: yes I do my part in cleaning
Boss me: we all do our part
boss: it allows me to share a view point that you might not see or imagine
me: but the bottom line is we need to be prepared for when winter comes in order to make any sort of profit
the thing is I clean I clean
Axel: That's what I am talking about
me: but there is no point in cleaning up if the toilets smell as tho something has died in there even after I have clean it out
boss: We have to do things in a more professional way.

Boss: Seriously, the way i saw the shop the other day, if I was not involved in Breakers and I had to choose where to go for internet access, I'd definitely go to the opposition.
not because their machine work better but because of the way the place looks.
i won't see on a desk that will make my expansive shirt dirty
me: num 1 your office I am not prepared to clean up after your cleaning staff that just dump wet mops every where ..the way your office was left was by your cleaning staff .. them alone as i have told you before I will not clean it if they just dump
Boss: even simple things like putting back the chairs after customers are gone seems to be a daunting task.
I know it is annoying but we are there for it.
there are no jobs that involves dealing with the public that are not annoying.
we learn to deal with it
unless we are a government entity, then we can have that I don't care attitude

I went to spy on Tshink's place last week, the guy is making good progress with next to nothing.
he has progressed from a chubby place to a more friendly place
with growing services and not shrinking ones.

me: aah but when your cleaning service comes here I expect you to lecture them on how to treat this place when leaving your things I am not there maid
Boss: all they did was to damp the staff in the Kitchen
i organised it myself if you recall
me: yes but the point is you shouldnt have to do it

me: you do relise that by them
dumping your cleaning tools the way they did is great disrespect to me more importantly to you and your things you spend money on
Boss: the other thing is the dress code
me: I left your office like that for you to see how they treat your stuff
Boss: i know you are pretty presentable but your colleagues must also do the same.
The Russian lady who comes in sometimes for copies phoned me once to tell me why your staff dress as if they were at home
it is work
me: I do try to do the best I can with what i have unfortunately my pay does not alow me to buy new clothing
yes well what do you expect us to wear when we can't afford to buy new clothing
Boss: me, it is not about new clothes
one can wear old but wear it in a decent way.
me: really we do try
I cant speak for every one else I do try to come to work well groomed
even when I am sick and look like crap

if these issues have been bugging you why havent you taken charge and held a staff meeting?
Boss: there are people who only have 2 trousers, 3 shirts, etc but they clean and iron, they don't put the stuff like that
what i mean is that it is a business. people judge according to what they see.

i should know what i mean

me: it isnt what you wear ,what you own ,what car you drive, what phone you have, it is about all the knowladge you know and how to practice it fluently within your business that makes you a business man..

What I don't get is it is that it is winter as to what he admits ,, yet he is not willing to fix the broken equipment so that we may double our profits .'
International phones are not working,, Yet that is how and where we make most of our profit,,
So as a result we must stay late tonight to work over time wich we do not get aid for to fix the phones and what ever else is broken, to keep the shop alive and kicking, so we can protect our jobs and insure that the shop does not close ,,
but yet we are not doing our part..
PLEASE GIVE ME SOME PERSPECTIVE ON THIS BEFORE I LOSE MY MIND. THIS MAN KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON YET HE BITCHES WHEN I FIGHT WITH HIM TO GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER. i NEED MORE INPUT AS TO HOW TO GET IT THREW TO HIM THAT WITHOUT A PROFIT MARGIN WE ARE GOING TO BE FORCED TO SHUT DOWN DUE LACK OF INCOME AND BROKEN EQUIPMENT
