Thanks Omega. It was actually the page refresh that got me this time. The internet and computers sure are hard.

A big issue for me is the longevity of the local game servers, and to what degree the expansions will be supported on them. The vast majority of the local servers do not even support B2K, let alone four more expansions. I haven't played any of the battlefield franchises before and I don't know what the local support of the servers is like. Historically, is the server support good for years after the game? For example, are there still a lot of BF:BC2 servers? Do those servers have all the DLC?

EDIT: I am referring to PC servers, not console servers.

Are there even local servers at all?
I normally play on European servers...but I will admit this is on xbox so I can't speak for PC.

Ja, to be more specific, the servers for PC only. I'm not sure that there are local console servers at all.

I want to change my vote, voted on this without knowing that everything in premium would be cheaper then if i buy em separately and what is included in premium.

Dang i want to change my vote to Yes.
You can do anything if you put your mind and will behind it,provided it's within the bounds of logic and you have allot of time.

Premium is much better than I thought. I thought it was a subscription, and I just thought f**k no, I'll never get this. Then I saw what's all included and for R400, it's such a bargain.

I bought BF premium on the xbox yesterday. It's 4000 MSP, which works out to around R400. As To0ken says, it's not a subscription, it's once off, and it saves you money if you're planning on buying all the map packs, and it gives you some extra goodies. Much cooler than I had though. Even without the extra bells and whistles, it'll save you 800 MSP if you don't already have Karkand, and 2000 MSP if you don't have it yet. I got Karkand free with my LE pre-order anyway, so it doesn't bother me that I'm not scoring on that. All the extra stuff is just a bonus really

Yeah, and just remember, there's lots of other goodies included as well. Not just extra maps and weapons, but all kinds of extras. Soldier upgrades etc, and those bonus content drops, 2 of them to be exact, as well. I don't even know what those extra content drops are but it's quite exciting

Check this out, at the bottom: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/premium/

Ya, the soldier upgrages are like new camo's and dogtags and stuff, and the extra assignments are just to unlock more dogtags, so that's not super exciting, but cooler is getting the DLC early, and they give you videos and strategy guides as well.

The first video is out already, I'm busy downloading it because I don't have the speed to stream it straight.
