You can do anything if you put your mind and will behind it,provided it's within the bounds of logic and you have allot of time.
Always nice to have streaming cause it allows you to find out who hacked so they can be removed from tournaments

How can admin tell when someone's cheating though... Do they spectate games from player views or what?
I dunno how BF3 works but with COD you could as they had an ingame recorder, and you coould follow a player. The only way in BF3 is to take screen shot when something odd happens, with the end result?
Well, this weekend we had a couple of very subtle cheaters. (Sarcasm). Guy came into the server and was 38 - 0 after 2 seconds, literally. He was killing okes all across the map, out of vehicles, all in one shot. Obvious much.Originally Posted by [H]agan
Other than the subtle cheaters (Sarcasm again), you get the clever ones. The ones that want to grow a big e-peen and show everyone how skilled they are at a game, because they have nothing else going for them in their lives. Except maybe for trying to be cool in front of their "friends" (who are probably just as fake as them) in real life.
Those are the ones that are really hard to catch since they pay for their skill and use their parents' hard earned money to do so. I assume they use their parents' money since you have to be 10 years of age at most to have such high aspirations in life. Although, there are some older people who just brings a whole new meaning to sad and pay for cheats with their own hard earned money. That's now if they do not steal it in real life, since, you know, cheating is OK in their books.

Very hard in BF3 but there is a feature called Punkbuster screenshots which allow you to capture part of their screen to see if there are hacks but a lot of hacks have ways around this. Mostly you have to just hope punkbuster does its job.

Which it doesn't. Punkbuster normally works 0% of the time, all the time. Only reason all these dumbasses were caught is because the developers at DICE collaborated with PB to release a sneaky update which kinda caught the silly cheaters off-guard. Why they don't just do it more often, noone knows. PB = solidly unreliable.
Just one more thing I'd like to add- The iGame servers have something nice called "admin presence" most of the time. Hacker comes- hacker gets kicked summah quickly.
The admins are available most of the time so just let them know when you spot one these low lifers and it gets sorted out quickly. At least, that's how I've always experienced it with iGame servers.
lol even in a game like COD4 where you can spec players in 1st person it is extremely hard to tell if someone has subtle aim bot or silent aim. You even admitted it is hard.
This why when they do get picked up you need to make sure they are logged and enforced. On WAGE COD4 servers we have managed to log and enforce 29 unique punkbuster bans (all South African) thanks to streaming in the last month.
