Game director thinks most players won’t even finish the game.

I'll be one of the 20% playing this game over and over and over..at least 5 times before giving it a rest.
I love the series and I still play the original titles every now and again.

Yeah but this is true for any game that offers any kind of challenge. What percentage of people finished Halo Reach solo on Legendary? Or Mass Effect 2 on Insanity? Im sure if you review those stats you will see only a small percentage of the player base did. Which is probably why devs make games so pathetically easy, in hope of getting more people to play it longer.

I fall into the 80%, there are so many games that I haven't finished. I love them but somehow just can't finish them. Last game I finished was Risen 1. Every other game since then I just stop playing for various reasons.

Ill only finish certain games , and this is one those games I will . May be the 20 % of us are secretly wanting to be assassins and the 80% of you are to be assassinated

It definitely depends on how this game turns out. If they turned our beloved Hitman into just another action shooter I will be a part of the 80%. If they stuck to the roots of hitman and his sneaky-sneaky awesomeness then add me to the 20%

I don't think Hitman will have this problem. Sure, there are a lot of games I don't finish... But those are mostly games that bore me and I do tend to get bored rather easily when it comes to games.
Games with difficulty spikes usually frustrates me... so I'll get pissed and through the game aside and try again later, but if the game / story is good, there is no way I'm not finishing it.

It is hard for me at the moment to play any of the Hitman games though... mostly because I've overdone it... but I'll try again closer to the new one being released... just to get into the swing of things.
