    Default My bad gaming habit

I get a new game, play it flat out and get fairly far. Then I stop playing because Im bored of it so I shelf it till Im keen again.
When I start playing again(months later) I finish it in an hour or less because thats how close I was to the end and Im left thinking 'is that it?'. Its happened now with Half Life 2 and Saints Row 3 this week both awesome games but the overall impact of seeing the credits roll has been lost.

I call it Gaming A.D.D. or Gaming Schitzo.

The only BGH I can think of which I have would be...

Having a chore to do and telling myself that I'm going to do it in 5 minutes, and end up doing it 2 hours later...

    More to come...

You can do anything if you put your mind and will behind it,provided it's within the bounds of logic and you have allot of time.

You should play Skrim. That way you can get bored of it lots of times, and when you pick it up again, there'll still be loads left to do

I have the problem where I will start playing a game (PS3) about half way, then I stop playing. Then when I want to continue playing it again later, I find that I get killed easily in these more difficult parts of the games, because I cannot really remember the controls...

Then I usually stop playing the game completely...

I have a drawer full of games, and I have only finished two of them

It's quite common. I still have Arkham City and Max Payne 3 installed even though I didn't play them in weeks. Both games blew my mind but I just lost interest somewhere down the line.

That is my approach to Skyrim as well.
I think I might have overdone it with Fallout NV with all that DLC so it is a bit hard for me to really get into the game and not get bored.

Happens to me with new games. Especially with the Steam summer sales, etc. I buy a new game, I want to check it out quickly so I just play through the intro (up to 2 hours sometimes depending on how gripping the game is). Then I put it off till later (Since I'm already busy with other things) and then I forgot the controls by the time I get back to it. I usually just play the intro again.

No guts, no glory, no brain, same story.
