Default Which SSD should i get?

Hi i am currently looking to buy a SSD and cannot make a decision between these two, would someone be able to give me an idea of which to go for. Corsair CSSD-F120GBGT-BK 120Gb Force GT series or the OCZ Agility 3 Series AGT3-25SAT3-120G they are both 120Gb and are both similar in price.

The corsair ha some bad ratings.

id go for the OCZ VERTEX 3

The Vertex 4 is also out now so maybe worth looking into. I've got an Adata S511 and they brought in a newer model the S510 and these perform like a charm Runs without any problems. And looking at buying a second one now and Im again looking at the Adata Series.

I agree with you, haven't had any problems with Corsair.

Between the two you've listed I would probably go with the Agility 3 unless cost doesn't matter, the extra cost for the Corsair 120GB Force GT is much greater than the performance. I'd probably say the Corsair is the better drive but not 50% better even though the price is about 50% higher.

As for anecdotes on failures they're not worth much as there's always someone with a problem no matter what drive you choose, especially when they use a new controller. A good thing about SSD drives is problems are often ironed out with firmware updates.

Either go for Vertex 4, or Corsair Force GT. Stay away from the Agility series.

You can also look at the Transcend U720 series.

I have the Corsair Force GT, solid SSD.

I've got the OCZ vertex 3 and really love it so it might be worth looking into getting the vertex 4.

the OCZ 4 series is much faster considering the maximum rated speeds arent just for compressed data.so you should definately look into that
