I would really like a low power card like this as it would be perfect for a home theater system and for some light gaming. This would go a long way to the start of that project and would at least remove one of the biggest costs of the system.

I have quite a decent rig, yet I'm lacking one huge component, a decent GFX card!!! So while i'm saving(not a lot at the moment, life is expensive!), I'm waiting to get a card, but I'm missing out on so many games that I just can't play on PC at all! I'm stuck with a 8600GT 256mb...which is pathetic! Please pass the GT 610 on to me, so I can join the rest of you guys on PC!
I currently have a Nvidia GT 430 card, so the GT 610 will be an awesome upgrade. I'm more into MMORPG's than any other genre, therefore I don't need a monster of a graphics card to suit my needs. Would be awesome if I could win this graphics card as Guild Wars 2 is just around the corner![]()
I need to build up a machine for my wife to use - this card would fit in perfectly there(hell its probably faster than my current card)
Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. I have been a reader for some time now, and have been meaning to register for a while. I suppose this is a good a reason as any.
Ok, So they say bad things happen in 3s. So first my 9800GT dies on me so I am back to using the VGA port on my mobo. Then the clutch on my car. Then my 22" monitor goes on the fritz. So here I am, puzzling with my 17" monitor, no games (I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms here).
I use my PC mostly for surfing the internet, watching movies and TV series, and studying (2yr BSc Informatics). I will be getting a 32" Samsung LED TV as a birthday gift (can't afford it myself) but I won't be able to connect my PC to the TV as is. So this will really save me the hassle of going out and paying for a new GFX card as I am kinda, sorta, broke. Really, this will help me out a great deal. I will be able to output on FullHD, connect my TV and monitor in a dual screen setup.
My gf has been bugging me to teach her how to build a PC. This would be a great start to get a build going so that I can 1) teach her how to do it and 2) get her into PC gaming and away from console gaming![]()
Good morning,
My NEED for this graphics card stems from the fact that my OLD one (9800GT) suddenly died in a ME3 MP map. Sycogrim tried to assist me to buy a new one on a budget - but to no avail.
I still NEED to check out the "Earth" dlc for ME3, and get ready and warmed up for Borderlands 2... because it is going to be epic. (already put leave in)
Thanks for your consideration.
To get up to date with graphics cards and games you need to upgrade each year, I wish ... This card would fit perfect into my new planned media center, currently running from the motherboard's graphics card. I will test it against my gaming pc graphics card but to be honest I don't think it would "fit" in there but this would be perfect for all my movies etc ... The low power consumption is a great feature and will help on saving by buying a cheaper power supply than planned.

Well the honest truth would be thus, recently my son's Xbox 360 died and went that great console place in the sky...And ever since i find my PC is randomly being Hijacked by him to play his favourite Lego games. This presents somewhat of a dilemma. While i'm glaad that he is now becoming adept at using the PC, it kind of leaves me in no man's land when he plays. So I started building him his own pc, so that we can live in harmony and game in peace. One thing his PC would definitely needs is a nice Graphics card. So this would just solve one of my problems.
My media center PC needs a bit of an upgrade.
This would be perfect![]()
Pink is awesome!
