Diablo III for PC - Heard anything?

I hope the fact that Amazon has put Diablo III for PC on pre-order today
means they know something about the overly extended release date.

And the price is looking quite good at $59.99.

With inflation and all it might have been a good choice to have pre-ordered Starcraft II 2 years ago already. If only Amazon still delivered PC games to SA.

The guy doesn't know much about Blizzard's release schedule, since he says it has been overly extended .

Blizzard hasn't confirmed a release date yet. And they won't until they are quite certain that they will be able to make it. Which means a couple of months after beta testing has started.

I think the earliest release would likely be end of next year, but I think it will probably be released in 2012.
