You can do anything if you put your mind and will behind it,provided it's within the bounds of logic and you have allot of time.

Hell yeah. I bought the all the collected Frank Miller Batman runs a while ago. Year One was by far the best out of the lot. The Dark Knight Returns is also very cool.

Cosmic Comics having a buy-one-get-one-free sale on this weekend, because they don't want to carry stuff to the new store hehehe...Something about the items must be older than a month.

Picked up The Boys vol. 11 and Crossed vol.2 up for a combined price of R249 as part of the buy-one-get-one-free special at Cosmic Comics yesterday. SWEET!

Also, I picked up issue 1 (of 5) of Harvest (from Image). I could not put it down, can't wait for the rest.

I have a collection building to read lol , seems all that is getting read is Action comics and Batman .
I want to break out from the DC /Marvel mould a bit experience some of the other houses writing and depiction.
just don't know what to dive into , I hate that feeling when you reading something and then you realise oh crap it looks like something important happened in issue 3 and you have no idea .

What do you guys suggest ? any books come to Mind or complete arcs .

What about looking at the following:
    Hellboy (Dark Horse)
Spawn: The Marauder series and one-shot, if you can find them (Image)
    Sin City (Dark Horse)
    Walking Dead (Image)

What is your tolerance level to violence and other such themes, perhaps I can recommend you something from other houses, but they normally are quite 'heavy'.

I've been following the Fables line for awhile now, and it has me hooked!
I was first a bit, meh, fables? Really? Doesn't look interesting.
    Boy was I wrong.
