How about the dreamcast? Although I think you'd get different opinions on the matter though. It's a pity, I'm sure the console wars would be a lot more interesting with sega still in the market.

The Dreamcast was never a failure, sega pulled out of the market by choice not by force. there are still hundreds games and apps in development for the dc and 75% of sega arcade machines still run the naomi architecture based on the dreamcast. hell in 2007 commercial games where still in development for the console, the dreamcast still has the record for the most best fighting game ever (soul calibur).

the saturn on the other hand was a failure, it was hard to program for, it had 2cpu's a weird graphics chip that used quadrilateral rendering meaning it wasnt easy to port games from the other 5th gen consoles etc.

the 3do was also a fail console along with the atari jaguar.

None of those were really spectacular failures. They were always destined to be also-rans. Virtual boy was a quirky niche exercise by Nintendo in the same vein as the 64DD. The Jaguar was a stunning misalignment of design. The Dreamcast was an iridescent flaming meteor.
