well i decided f***it i'm getting the download now and going to play it in about 2 hours.
bought the digital download and paid 34.95 Euros (= 382.419328 South African rands) for it. included 1 month game time + beta + final with all future expansions for free.
now it is just the wait to see how long it takes for download to complete and be updated so i can peek around the beta.
so after the 2 gig beta client download this is the next screen. gosh 4.4 gig to go and the wait. well i signed up for this so here we go
im restarted the process i think i got something wrong. it said point to the cache folder not a folder to write to. so extracting it again and this time i will point it to where i've extracted it. lol maybe the update isn't 4.4 gig then.Originally Posted by Lydon

I just wish they'd sort out the fonts etc. on their patching screen. It really irks me when patching screens/launchers have ugly fonts etc lol. All has to do with polish
gosh. such an idiot. next time read instructions and then click away. seems that the launcher asks you where the game is not what directory you can write to. if you select any dir it redownloads everything instead of just checking the client... oops. o well i've topped up with too much now and will have to download something else
so far the engine (u3) they using is decent, nice, responsive and no stutter hell like conan. for now im just running around looking at stuff

hmm servers are in offline mode.
