Fans of rugby games will be glad to know that a Rugby Challenge sequel announcement is expected to happen within 2013.

It may seem like a pretty openly vague period to wait for a Rugby Challenge 2 announcement, but given the lack of rugby union games, we’ll take what we can get.

The hint comes from the Rugby Challenge developer Sidhe forums, where a community member made a guesstimation of an announcement time, with a pretty enticing answer from Mario, the Sidhe forum community manager.

Well, from what it looks like, if you’re looking for some more virtual rugby action, Sidhe may just be prepping a RC2 announcement within the coming months.
