North Korea uses Modern Warfare 3 in propaganda video
North Korea dreams about American imperialists burning from within, using Call of Duty visual aides
North Korea has somehow managed to use a scene from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to create a propaganda video, posted on North Korea’s supposedly “official” Youtube channel.
The channel, Uriminzokkiri, featured the dream sequence from MW3, where one character’s dream shows the US under attack from North Korea, and burning buildings in New York are shown.
The video was also edited with captions that said:
“Somewhere in the United States, black clouds of smoke are billowing.
It seems that the nest of wickedness is ablaze with the fire started by itself.”
At the end of the video, the captions conclude with “surely will come true.”
“Despite all kinds of attempts by imperialists to isolate and crush us… never will anyone be able to stop the people marching toward a final victory,” adds the video.
Activision caught wind of this and quickly had the video pulled from Youtube.
