Gaming specials this weekend

Makro’s Spring special offers some pretty solid deals on consoles, while Game throw their gaming deals into the ring.

Makro’s Xbox 360 bundle comes with all the bells and whistles you’ll expect from a massive gaming pack.

The deal includes a 320GB Xbox 360 console, 2 wireless controllers, and a wireless steering wheel.

Games included are Mass Effect 3, FIFA Street, Fable 2, Forza 3, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Gears of War and Lego Star Wars III (download token) – all quality games.

The special is valid from 4 – 10 September 2012.

Playstation 3, games, Blu-rays and hardware bundle (Makro) – R3,999.00

If you’re leaning towards Sony, a PS3 bundle pack also offers a noteworthy gaming deal.

A 320GB Silver Playstation 3, two DualShock  3 controllers and a remote control make up the hardware.

MX vs. ATV: Untamed, Medal of Honor and Iron Man 2 are the bundled games, while you also get Crank: High Voltage and The Fighter on Blu-ray.

While not the newest releases, the following games are great titles in their own right and Game is promoting them with a special price-tag.

SSX, Mass Effect 3 and EA Grand Slam Tennis 2 are going for R399.99 each.

360 classics Gears of War, Halo 3 and Mass Effect are priced at R99.99 each.
