SA gaming specials this weekend

For those looking to scratch that gaming itch for the end of the month, BT Games, Makro and Incredible Connection are offering a few specials which should catch the eye.

Gamers will have a lot of choice with plenty of deals on games, along with a console offering and some PC peripheral specials that should keep gamers busy this weekend.

PC and console game specials (BT Games) – various prices

BT Games is currently holding special prices on a number of their games – both old and new titles.

Organised into four different pricing categories, you can pick up games at R99, R149, R299 and R399 and more, each.

Some of the R99 games include Ninja Gaiden 3 (360), Batman: Arkham City (PC), Homefront (PC), Fear 3 (PC), and Super Scribblenauts (DS), to name a few.

The special is valid until 7 October 2012.

PS3 essentials special (Makro) – R179.00 each

Makro are offering a special deal on a number of PS3 games part of the Essentials Collection.

The games (priced at R179.00 each) include GTA IV, God of War III, Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Red Dead Redemption, InFamous, and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.

The special is valid until 1 October 2012.

Xbox 360 games special (Incredible Connection) – R99.95 each

A number of Xbox 360 games are on special from Incredible Connection.

Syndicate, The Darkness II, SSX, UFC Undisputed 3, Prince of Persia and Super Street Fighter IV are the titles on offer for R99.95 each.

The special is available until 30 September 2012.

Playstation 3, games, Blu-rays and hardware bundle (Makro) – R3,999.00

Makro seems adamant with its PS3 special as the retailer continues to offer the solid deal week after week.

A 320GB Silver Playstation 3, two DualShock  3 controllers and a remote control make up the hardware in this console special.

MX vs. ATV: Untamed, Medal of Honor and Iron Man 2 are the bundled games, while you also get Crank: High Voltage and The Fighter on Blu-ray.

The special is valid until 1 October 2012.

Xbox 360 console, games and Kinect special (Game) R2,999.00

Game is offering a 4GB Xbox 360 console, controller, Kinect and 3 games for R2,999.00.

The games include FIFA 13 and two Kinect games – Kinect Disneyland and Kinect Adventures.

The special is available from 28 September until 7 October 2012.
