Resident Evil 6

2 October 2012

Resident Evil returns with the biggest, baddest and most brutal entry into the series ever. Resident Evil 6 takes on the ambitious approach by throwing together 3 different campaigns which crossover one another in a great fashion.

Resident Evil 6 adds a bunch of new features to the series, such as the ability to move and shoot; and while some gamers think the game has lost its “horror-touch”, after playing a fair amount, it’s safe to say that the game maintains its heritage of fear, as well as adding an even bigger fear-factor thanks to the graphical quality of the tech on-hand.

Dishonored

12 October 2012

Bethesda’s new IP appears to be one of the most interesting games releasing this season. Looking like a crossover between Assassin’s Creed, Thief and Bioshock, Dishonored combines stealth, action and beautifully stylised visuals to deliver a unique experience amongst the other games this month.

If throat-stabbing isn’t enough, Dishonored also throws in supernatural powers and a government conspiracy that should lure gamers into a new universe, surely to become a favourite.

Unlike previous Forza iterations, Forza Horizon will take a new direction from the series’ simulated roots and heads in a more arcade-oriented and no-holds-barred direction. Horizon is a free roaming, open world racing experience, that will combine the class and precision of the Forza franchise with the edgy off-track racing scene.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter

25 October 2012

Featuring military squads from all around the world, players will embark on globe-spanning missions that will throw players into some of the harshest battlegrounds and situations.

Warfighter is powered by the Frostbite 2 Engine and will feature a lot of the technology elements DICE used within Battlefield 3.
