While we’re all caught up in the euphoria of the Playstation 4 announcement, we’ve got to remember we’ve still got some current-gen consoles and games to consume.

Makro is holding a special on its 500GB PS3 console which is worth a look.

The special includes the super slim console, two Dual-Shock 3 controllers and 2 games (FIFA 13 and WWE 13).

250GB Xbox 360 bundle (Makro) – R2999.00

Another of Makro’s console specials includes an Xbox 360 package.

The bundle includes the 250GB black console, one controller, the Xbox 360 steering wheel, 3 packed games (Forza Horizon, Forza Motorsport 4 and Need for Speed: Most Wanted), and one download code for Skyrim.

The special is valid until 25 February 2013.

Medal of Honor Warfighter: Limited Edition – Xbox 360, PS3 (Takealot) – R299.00 each

Takealot has reduced the price on its console versions of Medal of Honor: Warfighter – Limited Edition.

The Xbox 360 and PS3 version of the game are on sale for R299.00 each, which is not bad for a new game, despite its reception.

Crysis 3 special (Makro) – 399.00 each

In celebration of the release of Crysis 3, Makro is retailing EA’s new game for R399.00.

The price applies to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
