Some brand new screenshots for EA’s annual football release have rolled in from Gamescom 2012.

The latest screens limelight one of EA’s biggest signings – Mr. Lionel Messi.

The images also give a glimpse at some of the contact action, new kits and boots that will be on show this season.

FIFA 13 is attempting to provide even more precision to ball control, by factoring in the characteristics of players, such as strength, speed and technical skill.

A reworked Impact Engine, dribbling and free-kick system will front the new features, while set-pieces have also undergone drastic improvement.
