If you feel liquid running down your neck, relax, lie on your back, and apply immediate pressure to your temples
Just when you thought Thursday couldn’t get any better, I’m here to tell you that Valve has released the first volume of Portal 2’s soundtrack, Music to Test By, as well as a bunch of Portal 2 ringtones for iPhone and Android devices for absolutely nothing. It’s just Valve Corp’s way of saying thanks for being such a great test subject, and for not pressing charges over that whole almost-dying thing (again).
Apparently they’re also prepping another two volumes of the game’s soundtrack (there was that much music in the game? I didn’t notice either), which will also be released for free at some point later on. Presumably before the Half-Life 2: Episode 3 launch, but don’t hold me to that.
In the meantime, of course, you can grab the 22-track soundtrack and ringtones over on the official Portal 2 site. Which is definitely probably not actually really an elaborate trap of some kind. Is it?
