The current scheduled date for Darksiders II is looking somewhat sceptical given the publishers recent comments.

Speaking with Ripten, THQ EVP Danny Bilson mentioned that the company can’t confirm the release date as of now.

Bilson went on to say: “We haven’t announced anything… but the team is working really, really hard. We’re not going to ship it before it’s done.”

He highlights the fact that the development process and getting both the Darksiders sequel and their upcoming South Park RPG project right is the main concern.

“We can’t afford to ship it until it’s perfect” said Bilson.

Darksiders II is currently lined up for a June 29 release, although we’ll gladly wait a little longer if THQ want to grind out the rough edges.
