Dishonored hunts down a release date

Bethesda have announced that their supernatural assassin game, Dishonored, will release on October 12, 2012, for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

While not too much is known about the game, besides a gorgeous CGI trailer and screenshots, Dishonored is said to incorporate stealth, traversal and action in interesting and unique ways – a refreshing take for a game market saturated by military shooters.

The story takes place in a city that is besieged by plague and ruled by a corrupt government armed with frightening technologies. Dark supernatural forces and abilities will be forced onto players – but these come at a price. The truth behind your betrayal and the conspiracy of the governments will all be exposed in Dishonored.
