Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition brings new features to Wii U
The Dark Knight’s adventure gets a little touchy-feely on the Wii U.
While Arkham City already hit Xbox 360, Ps3 and PC last year to the delight of critics and gamers, the Dark Knight will be making a belated, but special, jump to Nintendo’s upcoming console.
Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition will add a host of new features which take full advantage of the Wii U’s unique controls and touch capabilities.
The exclusive version includes a special B.A.T. mode, which can be activated via the Wii U GamePad, giving Batman a damage boost and increased strength.
Also featured is the ability to control the Batarang by using the gyroscope in the Wii U GamePad. Players can shift and turn the controller in order to guide to Batarang in combat or during puzzle solving.
A final edition will give players the opportunity to detonate Batman’s explosive gel by touching the specific wall on the controller’s touch-screen.
Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition is set for a holiday 2012 release.
