Max Payne 3 Local Justice DLC hitting town next month
New places to go, new people to kill.
Rockstar has confirmed that the first Max Payne 3 DLC add-on, Local Justice, will be doing dirty business from 3 July on Xbox 360 and PS3, and 17 July on PC.
The pack features three new multiplayer maps, pulled from locations in the game’s single-player campaign – including the 55th Battalion HQ police station, the (mostly-)derelict Imperial Palace hotel, and Departure Lounge, from the airport.
The DLC also adds a new man-shooter – the M4 assault rifle – as well as the new Light Fingers item, and the São Paulo Police Faction.
To make up for it being delayed from its original June launch date, the DLC will also be available at a special, lower price for the first week. That’s 480 MSP on Xbox or $5.99 on the PlayStation Network and Steam. Thereafter, the DLC will be tagged at 640 MSP and $7.99 respectively. For those of you who bought the Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass, the DLC will be, you know, “free”, because you’ve already paid for it.
On the same days, previously exclusive pre-order DLC goodies will also be available to purchase, including:
- Cemetery Map
- Silent Killer Loadout Pack
- Pill Bottle Item
- Deadly Force Burst
- Classic Max Payne Character
