Ubisoft are celebrating the fourth of July a little early, with an Assassin’s Creed III trailer for your eager eyes.

The video, titled “Independence”, highlights the brutal battles of the Revolutionary War, which acts as a backdrop to the on-going war between the assassins and Templars.

So, if you’re interested in seeing some soldiers dying and the game’s new hero, Connor, posing in stylish positions, while also listening to Amazing Grace, check out the video below:

Originally announced back in February, Assassin’s Creed 3 will take place over a 30-year period in colonial America beginning in 1777.

A PlayStation Vita spinoff Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation was announced at this year’s E3 Gaming Expo.
