Halo 4 multiplayer needs 8GB of HDD space
“For an optimal experience playing with an Xbox 360 Hard Drive is highly recommended”
If you’re planning on playing Halo 4 and you don’t have a USB drive or a hard drive attached to your Xbox 360, maybe it’s time to start saving up.
According to a product ad on Xbox.com, the game will require 8GB of hard drive space for a multiplayer installation. Why? Because all those little blue and red guys need a warm place to sleep, and everybody knows Xboxes are really, really warm inside. Or something like that.
“At a minimum, you’ll need at least an 8GB USB Flash Drive or an Xbox 360 Hard Drive to play Multiplayer mode in Halo 4,” reads the product page description. “For an optimal experience playing with an Xbox 360 Hard Drive is highly recommended.”
Presumably, some of that space is reserved for the 50 free Spartan Ops DLC missions scheduled for deployment over the ten weeks subsequent to the game’s launch in November.
