Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance trailer teaches you to kill
Konami and Platinum put some cutting training in action
A new trailer from Konami aims to be a cut above the rest by showing off some Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
The gameplay footage details the features the game has to offer, most notably the precision cutting mechanic (known as Blade Mode) and the ninja-run ability, which allows Raiden to run up and over objects with the push of a button.
Platinum Games highlight that the goal for Rising was to allow players to actually do the things that gamers could only watch in cutscenes in previous Metal Gear games.
Being developed by Platinum Games (Vanquish, Bayonetta), MGR: Revengeance is set to up-the-ante in terms of action for the series.

The game is expected for an early 2013 release period.
