A fake movie trailer for Dishonored has been doing the rounds on the internet, so well done that even the game’s creative director Harvey Smith liked it.

“This Dishonored movie trailer makes me [love] the internet,” he tweeted.

A product of Youtube user Bloodrunsclear, the trailer is in fact a mash-up of various clips taken from a variety of movies, weaved together to make the sum of its whole greater than the sum of its parts.

It’s a job well done; the user manages to portray a story of revenge, consistent with the game’s period and setting.

Perhaps it could even convince some Hollywood executive to think about making this real, let’s just make sure Uwe Boll doesn’t see it.
