And nobody was surprised.

If you go out in the woods today you’re sure of a big surprise.
If you go out in the woods today you’d better go in disguise.
For every wizard that ever there was will gather there for certain, because
Today’s the day the wizards are totally invulnerable and doing whatever they want for XP and cash and gear and stuff

A game-breaking invincibility glitch has been found in Diablo III, and perhaps the only surprising thing about it is that it’s taken this long to find.

According to the original post over on the Diablo III forums (now partially redacted), the exploit only works for the wizard class but can be used in both normal and hardcore mode. To make it all happen, do this:

  1. Select Teleport – Fracture and bind it to a key
  2. Select Archon, tested with Improved Archon
  3. Hover your mouse over or near your character
  4. Press Teleport
  5. QUICKLY(!) press Archon

Don’t actually do that, though, because the people at Blizzard are undoubtedly already busy with a hotfix and will probably ban anybody using this exploit. And then everybody who gets banned will complain because this problem was with the game not them, and Blizzard shouldn’t have released such a totally broken game anyway because the testers should have picked up this exploit before the game was even released and why not because the game was in development for like three hundred years, etc.
